A prominent Democrat donor accused of causing the overdose deaths of two men in his drug den West Hollywood apartment has hired a lawyer who prosecuted OJ Simpson for murder, DailyMail.com can reveal.

Court documents show Ed Buck, 65, who donated thou
sands to Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign, has hired top attorney Christopher Darden, 63, who was on the prosecuting team in OJ Simpson's 1995 murder trial.

Darden also had a brief stint defending the man accused of killing Nipsey Hussle, but quit after facing threats to himself and his family.

Local activists were enraged by Buck's new hire, calling Darden 'a traitor and sellout'.
